Finally catching up, thanks for all the prayers and well wishes while I was sick. I feel much better finally and slowly feeling back to normal fully.

Now for the contest!

I decided on a fanart and fanfic contest, both will have their rewards for a winner. You are free to enter both contests if you wish.

Fanart Contest:

Theme: Redraw any character(s) from a popular media (movies, tv, comics, etc). It can be from any franchise or media you like or feel the character(s) fit. For example, in the past I have redrawn Kyan and Tamiko as Westley and Princess Buttercup from The Princess Bride. You can redraw a scene completely with the character(s) or put them in your own illustration, it’s up to you. I will be judging on the creativity of the character(s) you chose and the media you chose for them.

Fanfic Contest:

Theme: Similar to the fanart contest, I want the fanfics theme to be based around fairy tales. It can be any form of fairy tale or mythology that you want to write the characters in. It doesn’t have to follow the fairy tale fully, but when reading it, I want to be able to tell what fairy tale inspired you.

Deadline: January 15th, 2023.

I want to give everyone plenty of time with the holidays coming up, let me know if this gives you all enough time, I’m willing to extend it further if you guys think you’ll need more time.

Winners and Rewards: There will be one winner from each section, you can only win one, but you may participate in both. If I choose someone for a winner in one I will not choose you as a winner in the other.

Both winners will win a fully colored commission work of whatever they want from me. It can be your own character or fan art of other characters. I will ask no more than two characters in the entire illustration, but they can be as stylized or rendered as you want, background included.

Lastly, please keep everything safe for work! Don’t do anything above PG 13 please. I don’t mind some blood or violence if needed (think LOTR or Star Wars level PG 13), but nothing rated R. Please respect the characters and the age range the comic itself has.
