One more page to go and we’re finally at the end of the prologue!
Everyone agreed to a DTIYS for the contest. I will be posting the last page and the illustration for the contest this Sunday, March 28th. I’ll explain all the rules and time frame then as well. I’m planning on letting it last a month so people have time to enter.
The third row of panels are inspired by my original attempt of this comic 5 years ago. You can see that here. I’m sincrely glad I stopped the comic back then. I was completely burnt out after college then and felt I was rushing into the story without having a proper timeline/script figured out. It’s good to wait sometimes and figure out what story you’re trying to tell. Since then, I’ve learned a lot about making comics and how to use certain tools to help speed up the process, especially if you’re doing it all on your own, it can be a lot to handle.
A portrait of Kyan I did this week. The last one is my attempt at painting him 5 years ago. I wanted to see how far I’d come with his design and wanted a matching set with the Nalea painting I did before.
