I hope everyone had a Happy 4th and Canada day! I enjoyed a nice relaxing weekend. We got a lot cleaned and started playing the FF7 remake. My family will be here at the end of July and I can’t wait to show them around the UK! Here’s a study I did of Cloud from FF7:

I’ve attached the map below as well so everyone can see it better. There will be a bigger shot in the comic, but it’s easier for readers to have this visual too.

This is not a map of the whole world either, just about a fraction I’d say. I like to think not everyone would have full maps unless they were more in the Capitol area of Ecra’Mor. Ramona has connections, but she wouldn’t have something that exquisite.

Adrien is probably two seconds from fainting of a heart attack.

I finally got back some commissions I commissioned recently! One of my friends, a fellow reader, Crystal, got these adorable GBA pixel style commissions of her characters and I had to get some myself:

I plan on getting Adrien and Emaré next, once more commissions slots open.

I finished this illustration of Theora based on this song, I’ve been writing more of their story. I got really stuck on the beginning part and I wasn’t the biggest fan of it and I’ve finally had a break through.

I stayed up pretty late to get this sketch done, so I’m a bit tired at the moment.

A lot happened within a two week period and I just didn’t have time to work on the comic, from commissions, to edits on commissions, to my husband’s 30 birthday, to a friend coming to England spontaneously, I had a lot going on, ha. Things are thankfully slowing down a bit again, but will pick up this weekend as we are celebrating Jared’s big 3-0. In classic English fashion, the weather is nice all this week and it’s supposed to rain on the weekend, but what can you do?

The first half of the page is a flash back to when Adrien was 15 and Emaré was 16.

Sorry for such a late update, my weekend was kind of insane. A lot of things got pushed around because of the Jubilee here and really messed up my schedule. I also got a lot of commission work on top of commissions needing edits. But here we are! I finally was able to get the base colors and lines done for the page.

Edit 6/1: Happy June! I hope everyone had a great Memorial Weekend! I just got back from traveling yesterday, so I will have the page up tomorrow for sure, going to try to get the sketch done tonight, but I don’t want to rush it.

Here is the sketch! I should have colors up tomorrow. This page I’ve been waiting to draw, I knew it’d be a lot of fun.

I listened to a song a while ago and two characters were birthed from it. Eudora was one of them. I’d like to do a story for them in the future, but I’m still working it out in my head. TLOR will always take precedence too, don’t worry. All I know for now is stars will be involved.

The last page has some color, yay! This one will be next and soon more.

The next page is going to be a lot of fun for certain people I think.

I’ve gotten most of the flats done on pages for this chapter. So I’m going to work backwards, starting with this one to fully render. Then we should be back to fully colored pages!

Now we get some brother bonding.

Assume for now all the text in this is green, I will be changing it later, but I wanted to post the sketch first so readers aren’t waiting.

I’ve been going through finally inking and coloring pages that I’ve been needing to do. Life got really busy after Easter, so I’m glad I can finally catch up.

Another book I did the cover for just got released, you can find it here. It’s fun seeing the covers come to life fully with the graphic design and everything.
